Borg Energy India – Rooftop Solar Technology

Said to be the most populated country with a count of more than 1.4 billion, India is one of the fastest-growing economies in the world. Needless to be said, in order to keep up with the demand of such active and ever-growing industries, depletion of energy resources is an obvious effect. Fossil fuels, the major source of energy has been in common use for quite a long time. Though they take thousands of years to form, we have been using them and thus, depleting them at an alarming rate. In these times where the future of our coming generations is in danger, it is an absolute must for us to explore sustainable sources of energy.

Boaz Augustin, Chairman & Managing Director of Borg Energy India is someone who has been researching deep into this topic for quite long time. His very own company, BORG Energy India is the Renewable Energy Company that strives to deliver products designed not only to meet the demands of the customer but help in preserving the ecosystem as well.

Today, Boaz Augustin, Founder of BORG Energy India decides to give us his take over Residential Solar Technology and how it will be beneficial in multiple spheres.

What is Rooftop Solar Technology?

Residential rooftop solar technology helps you to power your home with solar energy. Here the solar panel is installed on the rooftops of your home, which will generate electricity that you can use to run any home appliances. Basically, solar energy or renewable energy derived from the Sun when used to power residentially is known as Rooftop Solar Technology. Some f the examples of the same could be solar panels on your rooftop, lamps in your yard, etc. Their purpose is to generate a sufficient amount of energy so that you could use any home appliance without a problem while saving money and helping in preserving the environment.

Along with the active growth of residential rooftop solar, its adoption was a success as well. Here are all the benefits the technology of these smart systems has to offer:

Cost Savings:

The greatest benefit of building a residential solar rooftop is that it provides cost savings. Solar energy tariff prices are generally 17 percent to 25 percent cheaper than regular electricity tariffs. Residential rooftop solar installation costs are also very cheap, while initial expenses are moderately higher, you can probably earn back the cash you spent in installing it in a facility.

Secure Investment:

Average energy bills continue to fluctuate occasionally, so the cost of the overall power consumption is difficult to determine. Whereas the cost of producing electricity can be estimated for the next 25 years in residential solar power.

Reduces Carbon Footprint:

Solar panels are used for harnessing electricity in residential rooftop solar systems. Although producing solar energy, the solar panel does not generate any form of harmful pollutant, so we can assume that the rooftop solar panel reduces the carbon footprint.

Price of Low Maintenance:

Solar panels normally come with a performance warranty period of approximately 25 years, which may improve the longevity period if properly managed.

The maintenance needed for a solar plant is just routine cleaning and nothing else that makes it simple and cost-effective to maintain solar panels.

Suitable for Indian Climate.

When light falls on it, solar panels produce electricity, and the output rate of the solar panel is determined based on the strength of the light.  India lies in the humid tropics which actually receive direct sunlight, it is considered suitable for solar installations.

Support from the government:

The Government of India provides tax incentives to those installing solar roof panels for residential as well as for business purposes so that many are encouraged to use solar energy. As an opportunity for people who install rooftop solar panels, the MNRE, which is India’s central energy body, provides 40 percent.

Solar adoption growth seems to have been consistent in the domestic sector. The Bridge to India report shows that the residential sector is increasing at around 11% in 2017 to 10% in 2018 and is 12% in 2019.

There has been a 70% increase in the Indian solar rooftop market, just 12-14 percent of which comes from the residential industry.

There are just some facts that glorify the potential and power of solar energy. Become a part of the revolution. Promote the change by being the change.
